Master password requirements

This policy controls the master password requirements for user accounts. These requirements are enforced at the time when user accounts are changed or created.

Description

Minimum length

The minimum number of characters a password may contain. Regex Password Vault always enforces a minimum of 8 characters, so this value cannot be set to less than 8.

Enforce password complexity requirements

Require passwords to contain at least one character from 3 of the following 4 groups:

Uppercase letters (A-Z)

Lowercase letters (a-z)

Numbers (0-9)

Special characters/punctuation
` ~ ! @ # $ % ^ & * ( ) - _ = + [ ] { } ; : ' " , . < > / \ ? |

Require a security code

Require end users to memorize a 5-digit security code along with their master password.
