Symptoms

While installing Password Vault, you see the following error message:

This setup requires the .NET Framework version 1.1.4322. Please install the .NET Framework and run this setup again. The .NET Framework can be obtained from the web. Would you like to do this now?

Cause

You must have Version 1.1 of the Microsoft .NET Framework installed, even if you already have a newer version. If you do have a newer version installed, then installing Version 1.1 will not affect the newer version at all.

Solution

Click No, download the Microsoft .NET Framework Version 1.1 from here , then run the Password Vault installer again.
