With our product lifecycle policy, you can rest assured that your investment in our
product is well-placed.
Product Lifecycle Policy
Ideally, we would like to support all products for 10 years after they become
available to the public. However, products that are built on the Microsoft .NET
Framework are limited to the length of support that Microsoft will provide for
that version of the Framework. If we can continue to support products after support
for the .NET Framework ends, we will, up to a maximum of 10 years.
What does support for a product entail?
- Products will remain available for download, though not necessarily for purchase.
- Updates will be released that address security issues.
- Updates may or may not be released that introduce new features.
- Product support will be provided to customers free of charge.
- Products will be supported on the operating systems that were available at the
time of general product availability. Products may or may not be compatible with operating
systems released after that time.
